Disney’s Mulan Deleted Scene: Reflection

In my opinion, deleting this scene from “Reflection” was a terrible mistake.  The song is beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but this added part takes a somewhat disparing song and makes being different empowering and strong.

Yeah, Lea Salonga was heartbroken that they cut the song. I can understand why. This part is inspirational.

it is really pretty but i guess i can see plot/story/theme wise where it wouldnt fit in :(

wow this is gorgeous, it would have really changed the entire tone of her character, and the movie. I don’t know if I would have liked it more for it, it’s one of my favorite Disney films as it is

Oh gosh aaah this is wonderful. So sad they had to cut it, but I can understand why… If it was this long it would have really screwed up the pacing. :c
